Japanese banners for Northshield Units:

Diagram

Those recognized units of Northshield that provide armored troops for the military campaigns of the summer of 2002 are asked to provide, or allow the Coronet to provide, a banner featuring the badge of the unit, to be flown alongside the banners of Northshield. It is requested that these banners be available, along with a bearer, at the Investiture held in Korsvag, in the spring of 2002. However, this is only a request. The Coronet will provide bearers for banners lacking one, and banners may be completed later in the summer. If you know of a unit that has not been asked to provide such a banner, have them contact the Coronet.

These banners must be 10 feet long by 28 inches wide. They are held on to the poles by 14 pieces 6 inches by 2 inches, sewn into tubes, then to the edge of the banner. The picture shows these as 3 inches wide because in the picture they are flattened.

In Japanese display, the device must be near the top of the banner, but such heraldic items as borders must border the entire banner.

Kitakaze-denka will provide poles for these banners, as this will aid uniformity.
